Routes (Linear Referencing) with PowerBi+Arcgis Maps

Hello,

is there any way to use PowerBi+Esri ArcGIS Enterprise in order to use Linear Referencing in PowerBi?

In practice I'd like to:

- have a number of "routes" (routes in GIS terms, see Linear Referencing above) with unique ID (i.e. 1, 2, 3, ...) - i.e. by importing/linking "routes" from a GIS database/file into PowerBi. Each route would have a start (i.e. km 100) and an end (i.e. km 150)

- Load a database of events located along these routes (i.e. tables which include route ID, start and end)

- Link events to routes via route ID so that they appear on the map

- Use PowerBi filters and interactivity to explore/filter events on the basis of other parameters (i.e. dates or type of events)

Thanks!

Fabio

Hi @fabiot ,

I'm afraid this is not supported currently. How about trying to use Route Map?

Reference:

PowerBI - Routemap Custom Visual (weiweicui.github.io);

Power BI Custom Visuals - Route Map - YouTube.
