Hello all,
I am trying to understand the concept of Rolling Average, but I am confused. So, this quick measure calculates the average base value over a certain number of periods and/or after each one.
What I don't understand is the concept of the date here. When I create the measure, it gives me a single number, but I don't know on which date it did all the AVG calculations?
Can anyone explain the concept in a simple way?
Hi @Anonymous,
The moving average is a calculation to analyze data points by creating a series of averages of different subsets of the full data set. For more details, please check this blog.

Frank
Hi Frank
Thank you for your quick reply.
I have already read the blog you mentioned, yet it is not clear to me.
Any further explanation will be appreciated
