Hi,
My dataset involves many materials that are all in some company. For example, there are 10 different meterials (product codes) within one company, and several companies. When I drill down on a company, then drill down on a specific material for more information about that material, I want a little visualization to show me which material I have selected.
I've tried to use the formula:
(So that when only one material is selected, I get the material field)
I put the "Material" field into a Card visual and set the field to "First". When I drill down to the Material that I want to analyze, it works- I get the card to give me the material code selected. However, if I am at the company level and have not yet selected anything I see the first alphabetical material code in that company. I would like this card visual to show me a blank if no specific material is selected.
Is there a way to do this?

Hi @Anonymous
Create a measure instead of a column (Modeling->new measure)
Measure = SELECTEDVALUE(Sheet3[material])
Best Regards
Maggie

you can use SELECTEDVALUE
SELECTEDVALUE(Table[Material], BLANK())
