Reusable dashboard (Google Analytics/Exports datamodel)

Hello PowerBI forum,

I'm trying to create a reusable dashboard, than can be generated by simply changing the source in PowerQuery.

The sources I use are:

- Google Analytics(live connection)

- MailingExport(CSV)

We have over 100+ customers, this dashboard must be reusable for all of them. they all have a Google Analytics account under

our main account. In the advanced script-editor I can just change the database ID's and load the data for another customer. for the MailingExport I just change the source location.

As long as the datamodel is the same this should be fine right? and is there also a way to switch accounts of Google Analytics as this script-editor thing is a bit of a work around...

Google analytics codes(voor PBI script).PNGadvancededitor PowerBI.PNG

Or does someone have a better way to solve this reusable problem?

Thanks already!

Kind regards,

Niels Deckers

Hi @Anonymous,

Based on my research, you could use the parameter function in query editor and use the different parameters(in your case is the ID) to connect different data source, you could refer to below link:
