Retain slicer selection in calculated column

Hi Guys,

We have multiple versions of a budget and I need to be able to 'compare' on the selected one (through a slicer).

Eg current sales are 20% ahead of BUDGET_A, but might only be 15% ahead of BUDGET_B.

(outlook TYPE is just a stand alone table to select, and Outlook DATA is the tabel with budget information.

The following doesn't seem to work (as in the selected value seems to not make it through)
However if I hardcode this to be "BUDGET_A" it does work. (eg     && 'Outlook Data'[Source Data] = "BUDGET_A"

Outlook Pax 2 =
    CALCULATE(
        SUM( 'Outlook Data'[Outlook Pax]),
        filter('Outlook Data',
    'Outlook Data'[Fin Yr & Pd] = 'Capacity Query'[FINANCIAL_YEAR_AND_PERIOD]
    && 'Outlook Data'[Route Master] = 'Capacity Query'[ROUTE_MASTER]
    && 'Outlook Data'[Sector (Non-Dir)] = 'Capacity Query'[AIRPORT_PAIR_CODE]
    && 'Outlook Data'[Source Data] = SELECTEDVALUE('Outlook Type'[Source Data])
    )
    )

@Anonymous,

Values in a calculated column are fixed. They are an immutable result for each row in the table. You'll need to create a measure.
