I have a general question. How do I restrict users access to a certain table? I don't want users to be able to do anything they want in that table by selecting/deselecting anything?
Thanks.
Hey @rwong1 ,
if you want to restrict the interactivity between visuals go to the options and disable the cross highlighting:
Be aware that if they open the report in Power BI Desktop they can still see the tables, if it's in Power BI Service you should implement some security, e.g. with roles.
I don't want to disable the cross filtering. I want to not allow certain users to go modify a particular table. Please advise.
Thanks.
Hi, @rwong1
As far as I know, it isn't supported in PowerBI.Currently you cannot disable the interaction for some users.
The only solution I thought of is to create a new report with disabled interactions and then share it with these users.
