Restricting rows in table or chart

Hi,

 

I have a table chart with dimensions and measure and wanted to see only top  and bottom 10 records and don't want see any changes in the measure values.

 

not looking for Top or bottom option in filter pane. is it feasible by taking any index or sequence?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

I'd like to suggest you write a measure or calculate the rank with if statement to check current rank, if it less than or equal to 10 return Y, otherwise 'N'.'

Then drag this measure to visual level filter to filter 'Y' result to display top 10 records.

Visual level filter is impacting on measures even though measure restricted using ALL functionality, but visual level filter changes the data in measures as well.
