Report with filtering

HI all,

I am quite new to power bi and I have the following questoin:

I have a tabel (Cases)  with different columns and I would like to make a report (table PresentCases) with, among others, two columns with information with information based on the same column in the origanal tabel. Like this.

Data:

Table Cases

CasenumberpartynamePartyrol
1George1
1Pete2
2John1
2Carlos2
3Silvia1
3Gregory2

From this data I would like to have a report with the following columns:

Report PresentCases

CasenumberPartyrol 1Partyrol 2
1GeorgePete
2JohnCarlos
3Silvia

Gregory

How do I get these two columns, out of one?

@Steg

If you just want to display that table in the report, I guess you could just create an array. Remember to turn off totals.

Hi Vanessa,

I think your solution might work, however, I am not able to pivot the table. I get an Expression.Error: We cannot convert the value null to type Text.
