Each week managers at our company are required to submit timesheets for their team, I am trying to create a dashboard showing the status of the timesheet submittal by all managers.
Currently, I have a database that immediately updates to show the timesheet information once submitted, this includes a column named "Created By" containing the manager's name. In a separate database, we have our employee directory information including "employee name" and "job_title".
I would like to create a table that updates as employees submit their timesheets (similar to what I have below), I would like the "timesheets submitted" column to indicate how many timesheets they've entered for the week (there should always be more than 1), and if they've not submitted one I'd like it to read 0. I'd like this column to also reset each work week.
Employee Name | Job Title | timesheets submitted |
John Doe | Manager | 4 |
David Jackson | Manager | 0 |
Deb Baker | Manager | 5 |
Ryan Williams | Manager | 2 |
Drew Branch | Manager | 0 |
Pam Brown | Manager | 3 |
I've been able to use the following formula to count the number of time entries from each manager:
Any direction would be greatly appreciated, I've been trying to figure this out for some time now.
thanks!
