Report for Power Automate Flow sessions

I have a bunch of Power Automate flows which include Desktop and Modern flows. I wanted to create a Power BI report to see the overview and status. So I tried the following:

  • Add an OData Feed using the Web API's:

    • https://{ENV}/api/data/v9.1/workflows?$filter=category ge 5

  • The workflows connection is giving me the Flows of category 5 viz. Cloud Flow and category 6 which is Desktop Flows
  • However, when checking flowsessions query I do not see any details for flows of type Cloud Flow though I can see their run sessions in the enviornment.
  • I am including a snapshot of the relationship i created between the two datasets

My question is: Where can i get the data for the session details for the Cloud Flows of category 5?

I have checked COE Starter Kit for this overview part but it came across as pretty complicated for what I require at the moment. That's why I am looking to build a smaller solution at the moment.

I tried checking this with MS Support team. However, they confirmed that data is not available. So we abandoned this effort. I am sorry I did not inform earlier.

So just in case anyone comes here too - Power Apps Admin have created some power BI tools already. Under analytics - https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/analytics/flow

Good luck all

Did you ever find a solution to this? I am in the same boat over here. Multiple flows, multiple environments, want to have an overview.

Seems the solution is install the CoE or pull the logs yourself using Azure, both of wihch require extra licensing costs.

Just looking for a simple way to get a tenant-wide breakdown of ENVIRONMENT > SOLUTION > FLOW > HISTORY

I have made a suggestion for POwer Bi to have access to this information.

It is a shame such obvious administrative oversight information is not available to underprivileged (not an Administrator) automated processes such as a Power Bi report
