Reordering the months on a chart based on a rolling 12 month reporting period

HI,

Does anyone know if it possible to reorder the  months on a chart based on a rolling 12 month reporting period?

For example, this data below has figures for 12 months from October 18 to September 19.

What i like to show is :

- The line graph to start from October 18 and the end point to be September 19. Currently , I have the months sorted by financial year order

- To make the graph dynamic, so when i refresh the report next month month it  will  that  show figures  starting  from November 18- October 19.

The link to the data and pbix file is below:

Thanks

Hi,

1. add a new column number like Year-Month (ex 201801, 201809, 201910)

2. sort your year month from graph after the new column

Best,

Hi,

don't really understand how you would like to re order as they are ordered already by months. I can help with secon point, you need to:

1. click chart

2. add months to filter (Filters on this visual)

3. filter (Top N)
4. add month to field (where I have Max of Period) you need Max of Month

5. Set top 12

6. Apply

You have to create a month sorting like YYYYMM.  Where you need Make Oct as the first month

Month_no = IF((format(date,"MM")*1)-9 <=0, (format(date,"MM")*1)+12,(format(date,"MM")))
Sort_Key = format(date,"YYYY") & Month_no

You can calculate in 2 columns one.

Appreciate your Kudos. In case, this is the solution you are looking for, mark it as the Solution. In case it does not help, please provide additional information and mark me with @
Thanks.
