Hi, 2.png3.png

I use the query editor 😄

if there are few columns (ex - 5-10), then the approach indicated by you would be better..

but i guess, for 200 columns to rename in power BI, is there any method or better approach.

@RacAgr,

Currently, there is no such a function to rename all the columns at a time in Power BI desktop. I am afraid that you need rename the columns one by one.

Thank you for your understanding.

Charlie Liao

Hi,

I'd say that, on that same editor, use the advanced editor and put it in M... or I would create an excel table with the names as they are in your dataset, then the names you want, put that table into the model, and use the names from that table 😛

Could you elaborate more on this process. I have a to change all the column names in my model to a different language. I have the translated values, but don't want to have to change each one individually. Thanks!

Hi,

This is a link to the files in my onedrive 😄 https://1drv.ms/f/s!AqNjbKd67a9ghchOdCfy9eAnt6FLoA

Long story short, there's one exel (1) that has product name and price, other exel (2), has the product name, and the name we want to show, then I load them to power bi, and establish a relationship using the product name, so now I can show the product price with the new product name 😄

I've loaded both the excel files and the pbiex into onedrive ^^
