Hi,
I am working on a file where there are hierarchical x-axis (Division (large region) and district (region within Division). I am getting the right Clustered column chart but the Division is appearing with all District within its domain i.e. DG Khan is division and appearing three times with the districts present within DG Khan.
All I want is that DG Khan should appear once in x-axis like in picture below.
I am unable to do it by matrix. I am attaching the power BI file also for reference. Any help would be appreciated.
Below is the link to power BI file.

Hello @Mughees ,
Make sure that the chart sorts by x-axis values like this:

HI @v-eqin-msft ,
Thank you for your time but I am still facing the same issue and could not get it done in my own file as @gpiero mentioned in last comment.

Can you please get it done in my file and tell the trick on how we should do it. I have many other graphs on which I have to apply this thing.
Hi @Mughees
your link does not contain any pbix.
May I have your original pbix? If I can I would like to understand where is the trick🤔

Hi @v-eqin-msft
Now I am a bit curious.
It is a very strange thing.
Using your pbix, I have tried to regenerate the same visual on page 2 and I got the same issue by @Mughees , even if when I applied the concatenate label = off to his first pbix it works.
Is there something else to setup?
I am not able to understand
Hi @Mughees ,
Sorry for my late reply...
From your screenshot, it seems that drill down is used. Please make sure the buttons of Drill-down presents the following state:

Hi ,
Still the issue is persisting. PFB the image for reference once I tried as you said.
Can you please show me how to do it in my file. I have attached my file in the below link. It would be a great help.
Hi @Mughees ,
Please disable Concatenate labels under X-axis tabs like this:

Hi Eyelyn9,
Sorry for late reply. I tried your method as well but it is not working as well. Please see below the image.
It is quite surprising that despite doing the same thing we are not getting the same result. I have the latest POWER BI desktop software. Can you please guide me what is the issue.
@Mughees
Hi,
it is very likely I did not catcht perfectly you requirement.
Could you try to remove the field "division", leaving only DISTRICT?
Please check if it is what are you looking for
Regards
Hi @gpiero ,
Thank you for your reponse.
All I want is to have both Division and district in X-Axis, but the Division should appear once instead of appearing 3 or 4 times with each of its districts. like below:
Currently it is appearing like below in POWERBI. The first name is x axis is division while second name is district.
I hope it made things a little clear. Please do let me know if still there is confusion.
Hi
Did you ty to apply the article below?
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-november-feature-summary/#hierarchicalAxis
@gpiero yes i read it. It is saying the concatenate thing but that is not fixing my issue.
