Remove blanks from Hierarchy slicer

I've created a hierarchical slicer with three levels Org 1, Org 2, and Org 3

Org 1 is always populated. Org 2 is always populated. Org 3 is about 50% populated.

When I use the filter on the slicer to deselect blanks on Org 3, all of my Org 2s which don't have an Org 3 disappear.

So here's what it looks like (sort of) without the filter:

> FIELD
> HQ
  > Human Resources
   > blank
  > Information Technology
    > blank
 > General Counsel
    > GC-HQ
    > GC-Field

When I set the Org 3 filter to "not blank", I get this:

> FIELD
> HQ
 > General Counsel
    > GC-HQ
    > GC-Field

All of the Org 2 level which don't have an org 3 disappear!

What I want is this:

> FIELD
> HQ
  > Human Resources
  > Information Technology
 > General Counsel
    > GC-HQ
    > GC-Field

I'm definitely putting the filter on the org 3 level - I've checked about three times. What am I doing wrong?

After testing, I'm afraid that the default visual of Hierarchy slicer can't implement it. Maybe you could import a custom Hierarchy Slicer from AppStore to have a try.

There is a workaround for this:

1. Create entries at Org3 for every parent in Org2 even if it's blank. You can name it something like "N/A" for example.

2. Create the hierarchical slicer by dropping in Org1, Org2 and Org3 as fields in the slicer.

3. Select the slicer, and in the "filters on this visual", in the filter for Org3, select all the items except the ones you named in Step 1 ("N/A").
