Remote Name could not be resolved

I am using the latest version of Power BI Desktop.  Whenever I connect to "Salesforce Objects" I can connect to Salesforce, and often see a list of Salesforce objects and on occasion I am able to load data.  However everytime,at somepoint, I will recieve an error stating that Power BI cannot resolve the DNS name for the Salesforce instance I am trying to connect to.  e.g. "The Remote name coluld not be resolved "".  Has anyone experienced this? and know what the resolution may be?

Re: Remote Name could not be resolved

Hi @GavReekie,

In your scenario, when the error throws out, please access Salesforce site to check if the issue is occurring on Salesforce side. Also please use Fiddler to monitor traffic between Power BI and Salesforce, check if you can find any useful information. You can enable tracing on Power BI Desktop to find what's happening: Power BI Desktop Trace Logs Analyser.

If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
