Relative Date Slicer using from the date the month as day and day as month.

Hi Community,

i use the new relative date slicer but there ist a big problem. it does no work like it should.

An Example:

In the relvant data source is a Column with dates. For Example 22.05.2017. I´m using this column to slice the date.

BUT, 22.05.2017 does not work. 01.05.2017 does work, but wrong in the result. i see then the Data from the 5th January of 2017.

I change the format of the date column and so on, but it´s not getting better. Have anybody an idea?

Kind regards

@MK_AVIS

How did you format your date? Please try to format it under modeling tab.

Capture.PNG

Once you format your date into MM/dd/YYYY, it supposes to filter properly.

Regards,

Hi Smon_Hou-MSFT,

i had this idea to but did not find this option.

Format Selection.png

The Date is in the Database like this:  "20.05.2017  08:00:00"

The Format actual is: Format.png

Now i tried to save the Date in the database like this : mm.dd.yyyy. Result= Power Bi take this as text. Format to date does Not work. I believe it is a failure in the powerBi-Code. I hope for a Update...
