Relationships on calculated columns not working?

I have 4 tables in this report

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1yjUC27GjBRR85qBOpI8fekixigFIKb6Q?usp=sharing

1. DimDate - calendar table

2. readin - Actual is a character field that sometimes contains dates, sometimes contains 'missing'. I created a calculated field that is explicitly converted to a date with the function DATEVALUE()

3. List of BBs - Takes readin[List of BBs] and seperates the comma delimited values in seperate rows

4. List of descriptions - Takes readin[Descriptions] and seperates the bracket delimited values in seperate rows

What is wrong with the relationships in this report?

Can I relate on calculated fields?

Why do the visuals in this report error out when I add a DimDate field to readin visual?

Why can't I add a field from the List of BBs or List of Descriptions to the readin visual?

Why don't the slicers work?

First, none of your relationships are active. Inactive relationships are dormant and don't propagate filters like you'd expect a slicer to do.

Second, it looks like you are trying to create relationships on multiple columns simultaneously. This is not allowed. You can only have one active relationship in effect at a time. If you need a relationship on multiple columns, you need to create a new column on each table that serves as a composite key.

The DateDim filter works but the List of BBs and List of Descriptions filter doesn't work

See the report date filter works but the other fields are not filtering.pbix
