The attached file has two tables. One is the Calendar and the other has part info. I have linked the 'Date' and 'Createddate' fields to filer the part number created in each fiscal year. But the filter is not working.
Hi @bikashmittle,
You have created relationship between the two tables in PowerPivot Date model, right? Please share more details for further analysis.
Best Regards,
Angelia
Yes I did.
I have two tables. One is calendar table with customized calender and the other one is 'Part' table, which has information on part number and the dates they were created in the system.
When I select Fiscal Year from Calendar table (Ex: FY 2017) and part number from Part table, I expect to get a list of part numbers ceated in Fy 2017 but it lists all the part numbes no matter when they were created.
However when I do the count functon, the count functinality works by counting exactly how many parts were created in that fiscal year.
I got around this problem by merging the tables but just trying to understand the fault in my logic.
I can share the file with you, if you can provide me the email id.
Thanks,
Bikash
Hi @bikashmittle,
You can share your .pbix file on onedrive here, so I can download it. Thanks for understanding.

Angelia
What date field are using in your pivot table?
Also, there is no attached file, so we can't look at your data model and tables/columns to see where the issue is.
