Relationship Date/Time Column

Hello,

I am trying to make a relationship between two columns of different tables having Date/Time format with no success.

See screenshot below:

Table.png

I tried cardinality Many to Many but the data are not plotted.

I want to use the StartDate in Table2 and the Ring in Table1 because Table2 contains the distinct value of StartDate.

Any idea how to make this work?

Thanks

Hi @FraChi ,

These two columns can't find the corresponding value at all.

For example, I have two tables like these.

lll6.PNG

(Table2)

lll5.PNG

(Table1)

I got this when I create a relationship between the two tables:

lll7.PNG

So you should create relationship between [Ring] column with [Ring[#]] column.

Lionel Chen

Hi @FraChi ,

"I want to use the StartDate in Table2 and the Ring in Table1 because Table2 contains the distinct value of StartDate."

It doesn’t make sense to use these two columns to create a relationship.

Maybe you can use [Ring] column in table1 and [Ring[#]] in table 2 to create a relationship or use [StartDate] in table1 and [Start Date[yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss]] in table2 to create a relationship.

Lionel Chen

Wait, you are trying to create a relationship between Start Date in Table1 and Ring # in Table 2?

I am trying to make a relationship between StartDate of Table1 and Start Date [yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss] of Table 2.

Any idea why the relationship between StartDate of Table1 and Start Date [yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss] of Table 2does not work?
