Relationship Between Data Table and Virtual Table

Hi All

My transactional data is on a project level by client and I have used SUMMARIZECOLUMNS to calculate the total revenue by client.

However since there is no relationship, the filters aren't propogating properly. Therefore the number of clients by group is showing 3 for every row instead of the correct number.

Do I need a 'lookup' table so I can join the two transactional tables together?

Thanks!https://www.dropbox.com/sh/d6kw5mv524s5hsv/AAAtH2UhT0co35Xmnw_ViBupa?dl=0

Hi, @swwong1

Please correct me if I wrongly understood your question.

I do not know the situation that is related to this data model well, but,

in my opinion, I prefer to create a relationship and drag the ClientGroup Column Not from Data Table, but from Client Data Table.

Please check the link down below.

Thanks @Jihwan_Kim

This is what I want, but strangely it didn't work when I was doing it at work (for a more complicated dataset). Seems like this relationship didn't connect properly.

Let me test it our at work using this approach again
