Relation Detection "There is a missing relationship between these fields. Use Autodetect to search r

Dear all:

I have 4 tables all of them with a column called Demand ID which is used to relate the primary table (A) to the other tables. So Table A (primary) has a relationship (one to many) with table B, C and D. Cross Filter Direction is set to Both in all relationships.

The problem I have is that when I create a visual, let's say a table, pulling colums from table B and C, or C and D, or D and B, I got the following error message --> Relation Detection "There is a missing relationship between these fields. Use Autodetect to search relationships, or create them Manually"

If I try to create a relationship between tables B, C, and D, it remains inactive, due to the already existent realtionship with table A.

I though that if each secondary tables has a relationship with the primary table, all secondary table were going to be also related to each other, but it seems that this is not working in this case.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi , @Netope

Can you show relevant screenshots about the relationship between the tables in your model

@Netope , Not very clear. But as a is the central table. You can analyze the Calculated/summarized column/measures from B,C,D with A. You can take an unsummarized column only from one table b or c or D.

If there is any other common field like date or any other. Have common tables for that.

@Netope Can you try changing the cross filter direction of one of the relationship either between A and B or A and C to single direction and check whether if its working or not ?
