Related not working while m:m relationship

Hi Team,

I am trying to create a calculate column by using Related but it shows me below error.I already have a relationship between these 2 columns itemname:

@nj17 , related will work only from 1 to Many side

 

you can try

sumx(relatedtable(Sales), Sales[Sales])
