Refreshing two dependent tables one after the other automatically

Hello PBI Community,

I want to schedule an automatic weekly refresh my report data source that gets updated weekly.

The only issue I find is : I have two dependent tables. One is the "Unpivot" of the other. Which means that the original table should be refreshed first, and then refresh the unpivoted table. But when I click on "Refresh" in PBI Desktop , all the tables get refreshed at the same time.

My question then will be : Is there an order that we can impose, in Power BI desktop or Web, through which the first table that would be refreshed is the original table, followed by its unpivoted version...without doing it manually of course ??

Thank you for your help 🙂

Hi @ziad,

I don't think there is an option for refresh priorities in Power BI currently. Here is a similar idea shared on Power BI Ideas. You can vote it up and add your comments there to improve Power BI on this feature.Smiley Happy
