Refreshing PowerBI data from excel with multiple sheets combined thru Power Query Editor

Hi everyone,

Brief background, I consolidated and cleaned multiple sheets from 1 excel file through Power Query. My question is if I updated each of these sheets in excel file, do I need to repeat the same process of consolidating them and cleaning the data through Power Query to reflect the updates I did in the excel file or is it safe to just refresh data from the fields tab (in the right pane)?

Please help 😞 Thank you.

Hi,

You need not do it manually every time. Just click on the "refresh" button on the home page. If you have a gateway established then go to PowerBI datasets within the workspace and click on the "refresh" icon.

Appreciate a Kudos! 🙂
If this helps and resolves the issue, please mark it as a Solution! 🙂
