Refresh failure due to Gateway offline- Smartsheet

Hi,
I have connected my dashboard to a Smartsheet. For a month it has been working fine, with the scheduled refresh.

All of a sudden the scheduled refresh stopped working saying i was missing a gateway. From the answers I found in this forum, I downloaded an on premise gateway to my computer. not realizing that my computer had to be turned on in order for the refresh to take place, receiving the following message:

"Failure details: The last refresh attempt failed. Your Personal Gateway is offline or could not be reached. Ensure the Gateway computer is on and you are logged on to it during the scheduled refresh period."

From my understanding, if my source is online, like my smartsheet, I do not need to use a downloaded on premise gateway, especially since it was working fine for the first month.

@elyharow , Go to the setting of your dataset. using three dots when you see it in workspace.

In setting check if this needs some datasource credentials and check for missing one.

If not check for Gateway setting, if that is needed and not correct those
