Referential integrity in composite model

Hi,

I've built a composite model where one of my fact tables is loaded via DirectQuery due to the size of the recordset.  I'm trying to set the "Assume Referential Integrity" option on my relationships between my dimension tables (import) and the fact table (DirectQuery).  The Assume Referential Integrity option is grayed out on my relationship by the dim and fact table.  Any ideas why?

My model contains three fact tables; two are import and one is DirectQuery.  There are size dimension tables, all are import.

Thanks!

Hi @AUaero ,

As far as i know, Assume referential integrity is not supported for imported tables.

There's a description of Assume referential integrity on the Microsoft Power BI documents:

"The Assume referential integrity property is available only for One-to-many and One-to-one relationships between two DirectQuery storage mode tables that are based on the same data source".

For more details please check below document:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-relationships-understand#relationship-properties.

Jay
