Hello,
I need to create a report that compares total sales between different date ranges that are defined by the user. Ex The total sales from 8-1-18 to 8-12-18 compared to total sales of 8-1-19 to 8-12-19. The interval between the ranges and interval within the ranges can vary from a few days to years. I was thinking of having 4 slicers as follows: 1 -Start date of 1st range, 2-End date of 1st range, 3 - Start date of 2nd range, 4 - End date of 2nd range. Then would take the total sales from the start to end of the 1st range and put it in a table next to the total sales from the start to end of the 2nd range. How can I extract the date values from each slicer in order to use in the measures that calculate the totals? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
