Hello
I have one fact (WH_ledgertrans_f) and 5 dimension tables. I have created one new fact table(WH_LEDGERTRANSCONSOLIDATED_F) with different logic but has same number of records and same number of columns.
Now I want to point the reference to new fact (WH_LEDGERTRANSCONSOLIDATED_F) from old fact (WH_ledgertrans_f) in the data model so that I dont need to recreate those 20 measures in new fact and they should automatically come in new fact. Once testing fine then I want to delete old fact (WH_ledgertrans_f) table and rename new fact with current one . In new fact all the dimensions refrence keys are loaded correctly
I have added new fact (WH_LEDGERTRANSCONSOLIDATED_F) in data model but not connected yet anywhere.
Thanks
Smita
Hi @sjoshi
It seems you may set the relationship inactive for your old fact and connect the new fact as active relationship. Below is the article about relationship. If it is not your case, please please share some data sample and expected output.
