Recalculate specific column value based on another column value

Hi all,

My question is quite easy and the answer probably isn't that hard as well, but I just can't seem to get my head around it in DAX 😀.

I've got 2 columns:

1. STATUSOBJECT: this column contains text values represeting the -you guessed it- status of an object,

2. HOOGTECONSTRUCTIE: this column contains data measured by a surveyer or NULL-values.

I want to replace the value "Planvorming" in the column STATUSOBJECT with the new value "Niet gemeten" if the record has a NULL-value in the column HOOGTECONSTRUCTIE. So if it has an actual measured value (like 17,02 or 19,21) record should keep the value "Planvorming" in the column STATUSOBJECT...

Shouldn't be that hard, any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @GWTF ,

Create a new column like this:

Statusobject 2 =
IF('Table'[Hoogteconstructie]=BLANK(),"Niet gemeten",
'Table'[Statusobject])
