Rearrange column and line chart

Hi all!

I have this visual:

Capture.PNG

And I was wondering if it were possible to put the shaded line (super light blue) BEHIND the columns??

Never really come across this before but my boss said he would prefer it that way if its possible! 🙂

Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is possible with this visual. Here is a thread where they talk about changing which line is on top: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Overlapping-lines-change-display-order/td-p/710778

In the clustered bar and line visual I don't think you can put the line behind the bars. However, there is a work around. You can create a separate Clustered Bar and a separate line chart using the same values, resize them to be the same size, make the backgrounds clear (off maybe?) and then place the clustered bar chart over the line chart.

You can also reorder objects in Power BI Service (you may be able to in desktop, but clicking wrong will move them back to front or vice versus).

If this helps please kudo.

@Tad17  @Greg_Deckler bummer that its not built in, but I will definitely try stacking the charts. thank you both!!

You might be able to stack two visuals on top of one another to achieve the effect you want. You will have to make the background on the top visual transparent.

@ me in replies or I'll lose your thread!!!
