Real Time Updates & Publishing

Hi All,

I've looked around and can't seem to find an answer to my particular situation.

We have a user who downloads datasets from our servers and from that they create & publish reports for users to access on their laptops and mobile devices.

This user would like for all their report datasets to automatically update and publish.

Is this possible without having them & their desktop involved?

Hi @garyb3456,

For report dataset updates, you can consider to setting scheduler refresh on your datasets. They will auto refresh the datasets based on the scheduler settings.

For the auto publish part, current power bi does not include these types of features. It means you need to manually do these or use some other features to achieve these. E.g. use power automate with rest API to publish power bi pbix file.
