Hi,
one customer wants to display the folder structure (this works) and show the permission for the single folders (same like "manage access" in Sharepoint) within Power BI.
Is there a chance to read the permissions into Power BI directly?
Thanks in advance and greetings
Andy
Hi @AndyR123,
AFAIK, SharePoint folder connector seems not support these features.
BTW, the SharePoint folder data connector not able(it does not have enough permissions) to loop and list all the file system structures. (for this part, folder connector is better than SharePoint folder connector but it does not work for SharePoint data sources)

Hi Xiaoxin,
thanks for the response.
I will check it
Greeting Andy
HI @AndyR123,
You can also consider using a web connector with the rest API to get data, it should better than the default SharePoint connector:
Get to know the SharePoint REST service | Microsoft Docs
Solved: Pull data from a REST API Authentication - Microsoft Power BI Community
