How about the Read-Only Replica feature of Azure SQL Database for Power BI?

Azure SQL Database premium tier and business critical tier preview Read-Only Replica feature.

Power BI seems to Read-Only nodes of Azure SQL Database.

It seems great.

for connect Import and for Direct Query to Azure SQL Database.

and I hope the setting for connecting the read-only node of Azure SQL Database connector dialog.

HI @yoshihirok,

I don't think azure sql database preview feature will release to power bi, even if it released to stable versions, dev team may not released to power bi. Normally power bi team will add to plan list who has lots of users submit and voted.

You can also contact to azure sql team to know more about this feature.
