Ranking with related table and RLS

Hi All,

I would like to implement the Ranking of Subsidiary depending on their score only applicable to the same Type of business category.
And it requires RLS for individual Subsidiary.

Currently I am encountring two issue.
1. I want to show the respective Ranking Value to Subsidiary User with RLS applied. It doesn't work after RLS is appled.
2. When I tried to use the dim table columns in visuals, RankX DAX formula is not working.

Your expert advice is very much appreciated.

Below is the sample pibx file.

@bi_user77,

The role_s1 will filter all rows via [SubsidiaryKey] = 1, what does "When user with Role "Role_S1" would need to see its ranking based on it's Type of subsidiary.(4)" mean? Could you show some expected results?

Thank you for your reply.

Let’s say “Subsidiary 1” user has been assigned to “Role_S1”. And when “Subsidiary 1” user, login to the see the report, he/she can see the ranking, “4” based on the business type, “Category 1”.

Any idea on other issue, why the blank rows are showing and what is the right approach in such case.

Thanks again.
