Rank alphabetically in a calculated column

Hi , 

How to rank a column in alphabetical order and also based on other categories.

I have three categories category, sub - category and products.

Each category have different sub categories and under each sub category we have different products.

I want to rank the product column alphabetically in a "calculated column", and it should be ranked also based on othere categories.
