Rank a column of dates with the first rank starting with today's date

So I have a column of dates that I want to rank, but I want the rank to only apply to dates that are greater than or equal to today's date. Here is my attempt but it doesn't work:

Period = CALCULATE(RANK.EQ([Month],[Month],ASC),FILTER('Mortgage','Mortgage'[Month]>=TODAY()))

Hi @Anonymous

Try this Column

Period =
IF (
    Mortgage[Month] >= TODAY (),
    RANKX (
        FILTER ( ALL ( Mortgage[Month] ), Mortgage[Month] >= TODAY () ),
        Mortgage[Month],
        ,
        ASC,
        DENSE
    )
)
