Hi, everyone.
I posted an idea and I am hoping to get some votes. I want to be able to rank a column by a related calculated column.
My example is around Sales Stages. I often need to show sales by sales stage (Qualify, Develop, Propose, etc.) and I need to show them in the right order. The easiest way to do this would be to create a calculated column using SWITCH to return 1 if Qualify, 2 if Develop, etc. Only now, when I try and rank Sales Stage by the new calculated column, it returns the error that you can't rank something that is already ranked by itself. At present, the solution is to duplicate the column in M, and then rank based on the new column. But this is an unnecessary extra step!

Hi @Anonymous
Voted and it seems a good idea.

Cherie
