RLS against other Pro users

Hiya,

We are a small company and the premium pricing model just doesn't work for us at the moment which is a shame but we are trying to work around it. We are looking at just scaling the pro accounts that we have across the company.

One potential issue that we might face is that is that we still want to restrict reports internally between users however I want to know if I can apply RLS against other users whom would still have a pro account in restrict their views/access.

I have tried this but the users still seem to be able to see everything. I could have done something wrong in the setup however.

Hi @reksveks,

Of course you can apply RLS against other users whom have a pro account, in order to restrict data access for given users. Filters restrict data at the row level. You can define filters within roles. You can configure RLS for data models imported into Power BI with Power BI Desktop. You can also configure RLS on datasets that are using DirectQuery, such as SQL Server.

Please refer to below links to get detailed steps of configuring RLS correctly.
