REMOVE ALL DATA IN COLUMN THAT DOESN'T MEET A CRITERIA

Is there a way to remove values PERMANTLY from a column in the edit queries section?

I have a column all CMV PROJECT STAGE with values:

1. Identified

2. Approved

3. In-Process

4. Implemented

5. Final Sign Off

I want to remove EVERYTHING, but 4. Implemented. Is there a way to permantly remove the other four?

It is very important to remove and not just filter.

I tried ALLEXPECT, but it wasn't working.

I only want those ones to move into another table. I do not want the filtered data to show.

Hi @Anonymous 

In Query editor you can use the filtering option on the column to remove the rows that aren't 4. Click the drop down on the column header and only check the box for 4.

This will not load the data into the PowerBI model.

Hi @Anonymous 

Yes you can merge afterwards and it will only take through the unfiltered data.

You could also filter after the merge.

The data will not be brought into the model so not visible when creating a report
