I am following the tabular modelling tutorial, lesson 6 https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh231703.aspx, wishing to create calculated column within Product table, using formula =RELATED('Product Subcategory'[Product Subcategory Name])
Getting no errors, onlly Intellisense isn't picking up the existence of related tables/columns of Product Subcategory[Product Subcategory Name], so I can't complete the formula.
As you can see I have active relationships between product tables.
It seems not to be an issue in Power BI Desktop. I can use the related function properly in Power BI Desktop.
Could you please make sure that you create the calculated column in the Product table but not in the Product Subcategory table?
Best Regards,
Herbert
This is occuring in Visual Studio. Sorry, i didn't make it clear before. Do I need to post to a different forum for this problem?
