Good morning everyone,
Today trying to refresh the data from my dashboard I got the following error:
OLE DB u ODBC: Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040E4E.
Does anyone know what should I do? I've read that maybe is because I haven't updated to the last version yet but I have other reports and when I refresh them, I don't get this issue.
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Adrian
Solved! Go to Solution.
This is one of the best examples of why Power BI is not fit for production use. Random errors with no apparent cause and no obvious solution are incompatible with use in production environments by technical professionals. If I could give thumbs down to the many 'solutions' that involve 'fixed it', 'incompatible dates', 'refresh errors', etc. without properly explaining how to indetify the cause and determine the correct solution, I would do so.
It gives me the same error OLE DB or ODBC Error: HRESULT Exception: 0x80040E4E.
I have always used different formats and never gave me this error, until yesterday I updated to the new version...
Any suggestions?
I have the same issue, it works when I refresh the table one by one, but not when (all) refresh.
Anyone can help would be much appreciated it..
I am getting this error on powerbi desktop. If I reload the whole mode it gives this error. When I refresh each table individually I dont get the error?
I am also facing the same error. Please assist.
Did you find any solutions for this - it's driving me mad!
My error is:
The end of the input was reached.
The end of the input was reached.
Operator or expression '( )' is not supported in this context.
The end of the input was reached.
The end of the input was reached.
The end of the input was reached.
OLE DB or ODBC error: Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040E4E.
As with yours everything worked correctly, and I didn't change anything. Plus I can refresh each individual table and tehy do not error. I have even tried removing 10s of thousands of lines from my dtat to points in time where everything worked correctly.
Thanks,
