RANXX - handling situations with no data or limited entries HELP

Hello PowerBI Pals!

I have this RANKX Measure that ranks products based on turnover.

However, in situations where there is no data, or limited data you can see this situation for example where there is a repeating 1...

Is it possible to display a blank or a dash or something else to deal with these situations?

Thanks very much 🙂

Hi @Anonymous ,

Try this:

RANK - Turnover - Global BlendRankByMeasureValue =
RANKX (
    ALL ( 'Product Metadata'[Blend] ),
    CALCULATE ( [Group 2 Turnover] ),
    ,
    DESC
)

Best regards

Icey

Can you show the visualization in which you add the measure? because I can't understand the table. How do you know it repeats 1? I can't find the "RANK - Turnover - Global BlendRankByMeasureValue" in that table. Let's also consider to rank by the correct column the "all" function.
Let's recap that RANKX will show the same ranking value when the Measure has the same value for the column inside the ALL.

Regards,

Hi. I think you can try ALLNOBLANKROW instead of ALL. Otherwise we might need to create a conditions asking for blank in case you don't wan them to be considered.

Hope it works,
