Quick calc and visuals

Is it just me or the card visual does not support quick calcs?

Whenever I do my selection, the quick calc in card stays at 100% while it changes in charts and tooltips.

Can someone else confirm this behavior?

Hi SabineOussi,

As per my understanding, it's make sense that quick calc always display as 100% in card visual.

Card visual is a single value visual in Power BI desktop, it has only one value on that visual. So when add quick calc in this visual, it will always use itself divided by itself, so quick calc always display as 100% in card visual.

Regards,

Charlie Liao

In my case, it is used as a percentage of grand total and it is there to replace this measure

% = DIVIDE(SUM(Table1[ticket]) ,
CALCULATE(
SUM(Table1[ticket]),
ALL(Table1[department])
))

This is used to calculate the percentage of tickets submitted by department.

When this measure is put in a card visual and nothing is selected it states 100%, and it changes based on the departments selected from a slicer or a certain visual.

The same measure put in another visual like a pie chart acts the same way.

When a quick calc is put on that same pie chart, it also acts the same way.

From here came my concern about the card visual displaying 100% whatever the selection is made.

Per the feature owner this is the expected behaviour

@SabineOussi Yep that's right. I see the same behaviour.
