Hi All,
We are using SSAS 2017. When we develop the Power BI model using SSAS in memory db using import method and publish it to Service, where does the data and metadata reside ? Does it sit on the cloud or remains in memory of the SSAS ? Also what is the benefit of having SSAS in memory database if the data goes to cloud ? And in future we are planning to have Azure Analysis Services. So once we have AAS in place, what would be the benefit of having SSAS ?
Regards,
Akash
The dataset and any reports you created in Power BI Desktop are uploaded to your Power BI site. The refresh process may vary by configuration. As for the benefit, a dedicated forum might be more appropriate.
