Query the dataset through Web - and use the parameters user entered on the dashboard.

Scenario:

I need dashboard viewer to enter parameters on the dashboard.

Example: On Dashboard -> enter the data range and a few other parameters.

Then query the data through web source -> use the parameters that user entered in the query.

Refresh the datasource so that user can see the results and the results should be based on the parameters the user entered.

is it doable?

Not very clear.

I'm afraid it's hard to create parameters which can affect the data in queries.

@powerbbbuuuuu , I doubt that you can pass filter from slicer or Url to the parameter of connection.

Usually, the service URL can pass filter to get data. example: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-url-filters
