Query error - beginner user!

Hi, trying to update a report's data source (Excel CSV files) and got some query errors.

One error states that there is text in a Date/Time field. I checked the line referenced in the corresponding CSV file and there appears to be a date there? Not sure how this disconnect happens.

Error message states:

'DataFormat.Error: We couldn't parse the input provided as a DateTime value.
Details:
Accounts linked except for ATO held account' - I am assuming this is the text it is finding in that cell. Each cell that has errored in this fashion has differing text in it.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Hi shebr, thanks for your reply, but I managed to work out my issue was triggered by line breaks in my CSV file. This was causing the next row of data to shift to the next cell upon upload to PBI and so skewing the queries and rows.

This is going to mean some manual manipulation of my data files before refreshing the data in my reports I imagine, so not ideal.

Hi @Libby_o, can you post some sample data for this from both the CSV and excel views? Also the PBI editor view if possible. Thanks
