Query Editor per sheet

Hi 

I am new to power Bi and I need some clarifications please.

I create a data visualisation model using multiples datasources and have what I need in sheet 1

I would like to duplicate sheet 1 and have the same insctruction just change datasources.

How Can I perform this task? when I change data source for sheet2 it will also change it for sheet1

Hi @Anonymous,

You can do this by creating a funciton and running the same set of instructions agains the same query check the link to see how to setup a custom function.

If you are talking about different files, you can also use the get data from folder and then choose the edit and combine option this will create the custom function for you and allow you to make changes and adapt to your needs. Check this link although is for Power Query in Excel it's the same intrstucitons as in Power BI.

I will take a look to both links I will for sure learn many things.

I think I have found what I need. On query editor => Manage => Duplicate. 

I just need now to recreate manualy all custom measure for each table.

HI @Anonymous,

I was also thinking of the duplication but assumed you wanted something more structural that would allow you to do it for more files, but if is only one or two file you can do it in that way and is much easier and fastes.
