Hi all!
I am completely new in the management of this tool; I have been watching tutorials and reading, but in my case I have a single datasheet with all the invoices from 2014 to 2018. I can not connect Power BI because my SQL server is old so the only way that I have to upload the data is by a database from excel. In that way, in the datasheet I have the following items:
1. Invoice code
2. ZIP code
3. Proguct family
4. Product code
5. Quantity of profucts
6. Price of product
7. Total amount of the Invoice
My objective is to create a report which would allow me to watch the profit (Total amount of the Invoice) by product family YTD and YTY. And also to include the objectives.
I was wondering if I should create different queries with all the infomation of the products, dates, zones, and invoices and it would be easer tu manage my DATA.
Thank you,

Hi @Maria45,
I would suggest you create many dimensional queries for each item. That would be easy to manage data. Please refer to power-bi-data-modeling-best-practices/
