QNA in Power BI Desktop Preview Feature

Hi Community members

I have used QNA In Power BI service and I tried using QNA in Power BI desktop. This is available in under preview features. I have observed that as soon I enable thsi feature and open eixsting report, there is some heavy porcessing happens, probably for the  QNA to respond the queries. Entire POwer BI desktop application goes in non responding mode. I tried restarting the POwer BI many times, however the problem persists. Then I tried disabling the QNA feature and restarted the application, it works fine. Is anyone else facing such issue? How do you use the QNA in Power desktop with this problem? Any suggetsions are welcome.

Hi @VrushaliR,

Based on my test, it could work on my side and I could not understand what preview feature you have switched off? Could you please post me some picture if possible and I also want to know what kind of connection mode you have used in the Power BI Desktop, due to ask a question in Power BI Destop could not support the direct query mode and live connection mode, you could also refer to this link:

Thanks Daniel. IIthink I missed to get the updated version of the Power BI desktop and hence it was showing the QNA feature under preview feature. Just got the latest version and it has started working fine .
