I am trying to create a filter where users can supply their address/location and then select how many miles out/radius they are willing to serve their territory and then show data based upon this. Looking to populate data based upon distance within a geographic location. My query has address, city, state, zip and sales. Please let me know if you have advice on how to create a filter to execute this

Do you means arcgis map 'find nearby locations' feature? It allow you to setting driving area to search nearby areas.
AFAIK, current power bi not support to use filter or dax formula to interact with that feature, you need to manually setting and enable it.
